Referrals

We appreciate you thinking of The Brain Center to provide comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychological services for your patients. To help with the referral process, we have provided the following information.

If your patient has commercial insurance, a referral is helpful but not always required.

If your patient has Medicare or marketplace insurance, a referral is required.

**If your patient has Medicaid, a referral and recent notes documenting medical necessity are required. We have provided the medical necessity guidelines below to assist in creating a referral that has a better chance of approval. If your office cannot provide this information, we cannot submit for prior authorization.
