Rachel Echelbarger, M.S., LMHCA
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
Rachel specializes in working with adults of various backgrounds. They have a passion for working with adults navigating life changes and transition, exploring identity concerns, and/or neurodiversity, as well as with individuals seeking methods to manage their emotions. Transition can mean many things: entering the workforce, going to school, beginning/ending a relationship, gender exploration, existential concerns, and so much more. Rachel also enjoys helping people learn more about themselves. This assists us in knowing how to take care of ourselves and gives us ideas of what to do when life feels messy.
Rachel strives to provide a welcoming and non-judgmental environment to meet individuals as they are. She uses a few different approaches including, but not limited to, DBT and mindfulness. Rachel recognizes clients as experts of their own lives and takes on the role of the fellow traveler, helping individuals reach the goals they set for themselves. Therapy is not one size fits all, so she will work with you to find what approaches work best for you.
Rachel earned their Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Marian University.
